A controversial researcher

A researcher in my major will hold a conference in his country. But none of researcher I know won't attend it because everybody knows the meeting is kind of advertisement of his product. Indeed he publishes some papers, but they are all controversial. He insists to make his situation going well. He seems to be a president of private company rather than a researcher. Just we want him not to make the truth complicating..

File exchange software

I downloaded file exchange software called "poisoned" for macintosh and it enable us to download any kinds of file I want. I got some music files (5MB) without payment. Of course, it's illegal and invasion of copyright. In addition, I take high risks of virus like winny. Seems It's better not to use it...

Chinese restaurant

There are several chinese restaurant in Davis. Most Chinese restaurant use sauce with strong flavor on purpose, but one of my favorite restaurant "Shanghai town" doesn't apply for that. They use just salt and pepper basically and try to bring out original taste of food. I orderd "beef noodle" tonight and it was good!

squinting

My friend told me I was squinting when I see clock. It could be an unconscious habit. Actually I feel my eye sight is getting worth. I could barely see traffic signs on the road with my glasses before, but not now. I feel pain if I wear contact lenses longer than 6 hrs and it's inconvenience to me, especially during driving long distance. Just I wish my eye sight would revive...

Baby

My friend brought her baby to our laboratory today. He is only 7 and half month old and is trying to walk. I felt the power of life like documentary channel of wild life(?). I wish I could have warm family soon...

Dream came true!

Driving golden gate bridge was one of my dream and it came true! Since I watched TV program of world traveling, I was longing to visit there with my own car. My car and insurance wasn't cheap (for me) and I had tough time to survive, but everything paid off yesterday!

10pm

It's been a while to work until late. My PI has came back from the sampling so I feel more motivated to work hard. It seems I need pressure to work.
